Abstract
Das Kabel hat mindestens einen Leiter (1), welcher jeweils von mit Glimmer beschichteten Bändern (2) und einer isolierenden Polymerschicht (3) umgeben und mit einem Mantel (4) aus mit anorganischem Material gefülltem Polymer eingebettet ist. Ein metallischer Schutz in Form eines Metallmantels (6) wird aus gewelltem Stahlband aufgebracht, womit eine gute Biegbarkeit des Kabels gewährleistet und Schutz gegen Nagetiere und Termitenfrass erreicht ist. Das Kabel ist feuerbeständig und gewährleistet den Funktionserhalt im Brandfall für eine bestimmte Zeit bei Temperaturen von 850 °C.
Description
Feuerbeständiges elektrisches Kabel
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein feuerbeständiges Kabel mit Funktionserhalt im Brandfall mit Brandtemperaturverlauf nach der Einheitstemperaturzeitkurve (ETK) nach ISO 834, d.h. der Temperaturanstieg verläuft von 20° C über 822° C nach 30 Minuten, 925° C nach 60 Minuten, 986° C nach 90 Minuten bis 1029° C nach 120 Minuten.
Feuerbeständige Kabel werden für die elektrische Installation von Gebäuden mit hoher Personen- und Sachwertkonzentration ein¬ gesetzt. Dies gilt sowohl für die Energiezuleitung in Quer¬ schnitten von 1,5 bis 400 mm2 als auch für vieladrige Steuer- und Regelleitungen mit Querschnitten ab 0,5 bis 10 mm2.
Für die genannte Anwendung sind seit Jahren sogenannte "Mineral insulated cables (MIC)" im Einsatz. Der Kabelaufbau besteht aus
mindestens einem bis maximal 7 blanken Kupferleitern, die in
Magnesiumoxyd, voneinander distanziert, eingebettet und von ei¬ nem nahtlosen Kupferrohr umschlossen sind. MI-Kabel erfüllen die strengen Anforderungen und Prüfungen, die in der IEC-Publi- kation 331 und in DIN 4102, Teil 12 E 120 beschrieben sind. MI-Kabel sind zudem widerstandsfähig gegen mechanische Einflüs¬ se und auch gegen Nagetier- und Termitenfrass.
Nachteilig ist die durch die Steifigkeit bedingte, aufwendige Installationstechnik. Zum Verlegen, d.h. Herstellen der Biegun¬ gen oder zum Entfernen des Mantels bzw. der Isolation müssen Spezial erkzeuge eingesetzt werden. Die abgemantelten Enden müssen mit Klebband abgebunden werden, um die Isolation zusam¬ menzuhalten. Bei grösseren Leiterquerschnitten ist die Kabel¬ länge durch das Herstellverfahren begrenzt. MI-Kabel mit 20 mm Durchmesser, z.B. 4 x 25 mm2, können nur in Längen von maximal 82 m, MI-Kabel mit 40 mm Durchmesser, z.B. 1 x 4002 nur in Län¬ gen von maximal 36 m hergestellt werden.
Im weiteren sind feuerbeständige Kabel mit Funktionserhalt im Brandfall bekannt, deren Leiter mit mehreren, mit Glimmer be¬ schichteten Glasgewebebändern umwickelt und mit Silikonkaut¬ schuk isoliert sind. Die so hergestellten Adern werden einzeln oder im Verseilverband mit Glasgewebeband umwickelt und mit einem Schutzmantel aus einer halogenfreien, flammwidrigen Kunststoffmischung umschlossen. Mit diesen Kabeln können die Anforderungen der IEC-Publikation 331 und DIN 4102, Teil 12, Stufe" E 120 ebenfalls erfüllt werden. Der Vorteil dieser Kabel liegt in der einfachen Verarbeitung, d.h. die Kabel können nach
der allgemein bekannten Installationstechnik verlegt, abgeman- telt bzw. abisoliert, angeschlossen und gespleisst werden. Ka¬ bel mit groεsen Querschnitten und mit Durchmessern bis 40 mm können rationell in grossen Längen hergestellt werden.
Der Nachteil dieser Kabel liegt in der Unbeständigkeit gegen Nagetiere und Termiten.
Ausgehend von di&sem Stand der Technik liegt der vorliegenden Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein feuerbeständiges Kabel zu schaffen, das den Funktionserhalt im Brandfall, wie ihn IEC 331 und DIN 4102, Teil 12 E 120 verlangt, gewährleistet und zusätz¬ lich gegen Nagetier- und Termitenfrass geschützt ist, das aber auch nach der herkömmlichen Art und Weise installiert, d.h. ab- gemantelt und abisoliert, sowie angeschlossen und gespleisst werden kann. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss durch ein elektrisches Kabel mit den im Patentanspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmalen gelöst. Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den abhängigen Ansprüchen umschrieben.
Nachfolgend wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnungen erläutert. Darin zeigt:

Das elektrische Kabel nach Figur 1 umfasst mindestens einen Kupferleiter 1, der mit mindestens einem mit Glimmer beschich-
teten Band 2 aus Glasgewebe oder hochfestem, gerecktem Poly¬ äthylen von etwa 0,05 mm Dicke ummantelt und darüber im Extru- sionsverfahren mit einem halogenfreien Kunststoff 3, der mit mineralischem Füllstoff gefüllt ist, umspritzt wird. Als wärme¬ beständiger, halogenfreier, flammwidriger, vernetzter oder un- vernetzter Kunststoff 3 eignet sich insbesondere ein Verschnitt von Polymeren oder Mischpolymeren auf der Basis des Ethylens, vorzugsweise EVA, EPR oder PE. Als mineralischer Füllstoff eignet sich z.B. Kreide, Kieselgur oder Glimmer. Vorzugsweise werden mindestens 60 Gewichtsteile Füllstoff eingesetzt, d.h. mindestens 37,5 Gewichtsprozent. Stattdessen kann die isolie¬ rende Schicht 3 auch aus Silikonkautschuk bestehen.
Eine oder mehrere solcher zu einem Bündel verseilte Adern wer¬ den mit einem Mantel 4 aus halogenfreiem, flammwidrigen Kunst¬ stoff, der mindestens 60 Gewichtsteile (GT) mineralischen Füll¬ stoff enthält, im Extrusionsverfahren umspritzt. Geeignete Ma¬ terialien für Kunststoff und Füllstoff sind dieselben wie für den Kunststoff 3.
Darüber liegt ein Schutzmantel 6 aus Metall, der aus einem quer zur Kabelachse gewellten Stahlband oder einem gewellten nicht magnetischen Metallband, z.B. Kupfer, in der Dicke von 0,1 bis 0,5 mm geformt wird. Die Längsränder dieses Bandes werden über¬ lappt und miteinander durch Kleben, Löten oder Schweissen ver¬ bunden, vorzugsweise mittels eines Heisssch elzklebers.
Zwischen Kunststoffmantel 4 und Metallmantel 6 kann als zusätz¬ liche Wärmedämmung ein aus anorganischem, vorzugsweise kerami-
schem Material, z.B. Keramikfasern, bestehendes Band 5 längs eingebracht werden.
Die Kunststoffisolation 3 und der Kunststoffmantel 4 erfüllen die an Kabelwerkstoffe bezüglich elektrischen und mechanischen Eigenschaften gestellten Anforderungen. Die verwendeten Kabel¬ werkstoffe sind halogenfrei. Im Brandfall werden keine korrosi¬ ven Gase freigesetzt. Die bei der Verbrennung der organischen Bestandteile der "Isolations- und Mantelmaterialien entstehenden Gase entweichen durch die in Längsrichtung laufende Trennfuge des Metallmantels, die sich bei erhöhter Temperatur durch Schmelzen des Heissklebers oder des Lotes öffnet. Für zusätz¬ liche Abführung der Brandgase wird der Metallmantel mit Ausspa¬ rungen versehen. Bei geschweisstem Wellmantel muss das Metall¬ band mit Aussparungen versehen werden. Die Aussparungen 8 in Form von kleinen, runden Löchern oder Längsschlitzen werden vor dem Formen des Mantels in das Metallband eingestanzt.
Ueber den Mantel kann als Korrosionsschutz 7 ein dünner Schutz¬ mantel aus Kunststoff oder eine Schutzlackierung aufgebracht werden. Der Schutzmantel 7 kann z.B. als Schlauch aus den glei¬ chen Materialien wie der Kunststoff 3 oder der Mantel 4, jedoch mit weniger Füllstoff, um das Kabel herum extrudiert werden.
Das beschriebene Kabel ist leicht und ohne Spezialwerkzeuge verlegbar und gewährt trotzdem Schutz gegen Nagetier- und Ter- mitenfrass. Der Metallmantel schützt das Kabel ausserdem vor der direkten Berührung mit Flammen. Er ergibt zudem einen sehr guten mechanischen Schutz.
Beispiel 1
4 Kupferleiter 1 ä 95 mm2 nach IEC 228, Klasse II, die jeweils mit einem glimmerbeschichteten Band 2 und mit einem halogen¬ freien, vernetzten, mit 80 GT Mineralstoffen gefüllten Kunst¬ stoff 3 isoliert sind, werden miteinander verseilt und mit ei¬ nem Mantel 4 aus einer mit 60 GT gefüllten halogenfreien, flammwidrigen und vernetzten Polyolefin-Copolymer-Mischung um¬ spritzt. Dieses Kabel, das der Norm VDE 0266, Teil 6, Bauart NHXHX FE 180 entspricht, wird mit einem Metallmantel 6, geformt aus gewelltem Stahlband mit einer Dicke von 0,2 mm umgeben. Da¬ rüber wird ein Schutzmantel 7 aus flammwidrigem, halogenfreiem Kunststoff extrudiert. Der Aussendurchmesser des Kabels beträgt 50 ± 3 mm. Das Kabel kann in grossen Längen bis zum 1000 m her¬ gestellt werden. Die nach der Norm IEC 331 durchgeführten Brandtests mit Funktionserhalt unter einer elektrischen Span¬ nung von 600/1000 V während einer Dauer von 180 Minuten wurden mit Erfolg bestanden.
Beispiel 2
Kupferdrähte 1 mit 0,8 mm Durchmesser werden mit glimmerbe¬ schichteten Bändern 2 umwickelt und mit halogenfreiem, mit 60 GT Mineralstoff gefülltem Kunststoff 3 isoliert. Jeweils zwei solcher Adern werden zu Paaren und 5 solche Paare zu einem Bün¬ del verseilt. Vier solcher Bündel werden über einen Kern ver¬ seilt und mit aluminiumkaschiertem Kunststoffband umwickelt. Darüber wird ein Mantel 4 aus einer mit 60 GT Mineralstoffan¬ teilen gefüllten, halogenfreien Polyolefin-Copolymer-Mischung extrudiert. Dieses Kabel, das der Norm VDE 0815 Bauart JE-HCH5X
4 x 2 x 0,8 φ mit zusätzlichem Funktionserhalt FE 180 ent¬ spricht, wird mit einem Metallmantel 6, geformt aus gelochtem und gewelltem Stahlband mit einer Dicke von 0,2 mm umgeben. Der Aussendurchmesser des Kabels beträgt 40 ± 3 mm. Das Kabel kann in Längen bis zu 1000 m hergestellt werden. Der Brandtest nach IEC 331 mit Funktionserhalt unter einer elektrischen Spannung von 300/500 V während 180 Minuten wurde mit Erfolg durchge¬ führt.
Claims
1. Feuerbeständiges Kabel mit Funktionserhalt im Brand¬ fall mit einem oder mehreren Leitern (1), welche jeweils mit einer inneren, isolierenden Schicht aus mindestens einer Lage mit anorganischem Material, insbesondere Glimmer, belegtem Trä¬ gerband (2) und einer äusseren, isolierenden Schicht (3) aus halogenfreiem, flammwidrigem Kunststoff isoliert sind, von ei¬ nem mit anorganischem Füllstoffen versehenen gemeinsamen Mantel (4) aus halogenfreiem, flammwidrigem Kunststoff umgeben sind und von einem metallischen Schutzmantel (6) umschlossen sind.
2. Kabel nach Anspruch 1, wobei die äussere, isolie¬ rende Schicht (3) aus Silikonkautschuk besteht.
3. Kabel nach Anspruch 1, wobei die äussere, isolieren¬ de Schicht (3) aus einem mit mindestens 60 Gewichtsteilen Mine¬ ralstoffen gefüllten, wärmebeständigen, halogenfreien, flamm¬ widrigen, vernetzten Kunststoff aus einem Verschnitt von Poly¬ meren oder Mischpolymeren auf der Basis des Ethylens, vorzugs¬ weise EVA, EPR oder PE besteht.
4. Kabel nach Anspruch 1, wobei die äussere isolierende Schicht (3) aus einem mit mindestens zu 60 Gewichtsteilen Mine¬ ralstoffen gefüllten, halogenfreien, unvernetzten Kunststoff aus einem Verschnitt von Polymeren oder Mischpolymeren auf der
Basis des Ethylens, vorzugsweise EPR, EVA oder PE besteht.
5. Kabel nach einem der Ansprüche 1-4, wobei der ge¬ meinsame Mantel (4) aus einem mit mindestens 60 Gewichtsteilen Mineralstoffen gefüllten, halogenfreien, flammwidrigen, ver¬ netzten Kunststoff aus einem Verschnitt von Polymeren oder Mischpolymeren auf der Basis des Ethylens, vorzugsweise EPR, EVA, PE besteht. -
6. Kabel nach einem der Ansprüche 1-4, wobei der ge¬ meinsame Mantel (4) aus einem mit mindestens 60 Gewichtsteilen Mineralstoffen gefüllten, halogenfreien, flammwidrigen, unver- netzten Kunststoff aus einem Verschnitt von Polymeren oder Mischpolymeren auf der Basis des Ethylens, vorzugsweise EPR, EVA oder PE besteht.
7. Kabel nach einem der Ansprüche 1-6, wobei der metal¬ lische Schutzmantel (6) aus quer zur Kabelachse gewelltem Stahlband oder gewelltem nichtmagnetischem Band mit einer Dicke von 0,1 bis 1 mm besteht.
8. Kabel nach einem der Ansprüche 1-7, wobei das zum metallischen Schutzmantel (6) geformte metallische Band mit kleinen, gleichmässig über die Bandbreite verteilten Aussparun¬ gen (8) perforiert ist.
9. Kabel nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, wobei das zum Schutz¬ mantel (6) geformte Band an seinen Längsrändern überlappt ist und die überlappten Längsränder miteinander verbunden sind.
10. Kabel nach Anspruch 9, wobei die überlappten Längs¬ ränder miteinander verklebt sind, vorzugsweise mittels eines Heissschmelzklebers.
