Abstract

Dispositif d'affichage lumineux, capable d'afficher des figures et des lettres de diverses formes dans une couleur synthétisée par réflexion de la lumière. Le dispositif selon l'invention comprend: des éléments (2) constitués d'un empilement d'une pluralité de plaques en plastique transparent (1); de parties (3) réfléchissant la lumière formées par gravure de lettres ou de figures sur le revers des plaques en plastique transparent (1); de couches de revêtement (4) formées par application sur la surface de la plaque en plastique d'une matière polymère présentant un indice de réfraction plus élevé que la plaque en plastique (1); des parties colorées (10) recouvertes sélectivement de peinture ne laissant passer qu'une lumière colorée particulière dans toutes les directions de la surface latérale de chaque plaque en plastique faisant partie des éléments à empilement (2); des cadres de support (6) pour la fixation des éléments à empilement (2); d'une pluralité de parois de séparation (7) formant partie intégrante du cadre de support (6), placées entre ce dernier (6) et les éléments à empilement (2) de sorte que chaque chambre indépendante (8) soit cloisonnée; de lampes d'illumination (5) disposées à raison d'une par chambre (8) cloisonnée par les cloisons (7) de séparation de sorte qu'une partie faisant face à la surface latérale de l'élément à empilement (2) comprenne une lentille de condensation (9); et d'un dispositif de commande d'illumination (15) conçu pour commander le degré d'éclairage et l'ordre d'allumage des lampes d'illumination (5) prévues dans chaque chambre (8); de sorte que l'effet publicitaire soit obtenu par changement de la couleur des lettres ou des figures synthétisée par réflexion de la lumière, seulement par la commande d'allumage (15) des lampes d'illumination (5).
