Description
LIGHT EXHIBITING DEVICE
DESCRIPTION TECHNICAL FIELD
Present invention relates to a light exhibiting device capable of exhibiting figures and letters of various forms to a light synthesized color by a light reflection, and more particularly to a light exhibiting device capable of applying to an advertizing board or decorative picture frame.
BACKGROUND ART
A lighting device being used much for an advertizing board is very simply constructed.
That is, it is the all as much as exhibiting by bending neon tube so as to form a desired letter shape or shining on an advertizing board from interior or exterior thereof.
However, in case of the advertizing board utilizing the neon tube, since it is made by bending the tube, expression of a little letters or delicate figures are impossible, and in case of large size, it is impossible to form one single letter or figure as a
whole, and thereby it can not but expect only very crude advertizing effect, on the contrary, it has disadvantages that energy consumption is much, a gas used for neon device induces an environmental problem, volume is large, making time is long, and high priced electric high voltage transformer should be used.
And, to shine a surface of the advertizing board by providing fluorescent lamps at interior and exterior of the advertizing board is so simple and thereby desired advertizing effect is hard to obtain and it gives visually messy feeling.
In order to solve the disadvantages as these, recently an advertizing board making to obtain various advertizing effects through light emitting control of light emitting diodes by arranging the light emitting diodes is generalized, but since it needs times and expense much for providing them according to arranging and wiring of numerous light emitting diodes, and in case when a part is cut down, a repair is inconvenience whereby a case left alone with very ugly shape is much, it is a real situation that it induces advertizing public pollution.
And, an advertizing board using optical fibers which is capable of delicate change of various colors is also used, but not only arrangement of numerous optical fibers is required but also manufacturing time
is required much and excessive expense is required, and since it is made to exhibit the figure by dot, it is difficult to arrange the optical fibers so as to have continuity of the figures, and thereby it has disadvantage that it is impossible to use for a large advertizing board.
And, recently an advertizing board utilizing liquid crystal display board is also appeared, but since a providing expense is too high and a technical limitation for magnitude is critical, it is real situation of long way to be generalized.
DESCLOSURE OF INVENTION Therefore, considering the problems described above, it is an object of the present invention to provide a light exhibiting device which does not receive a hitch for magnitude and complexity of figure and letter and which makes to be possible of changes of changeful color.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a light exhibiting device which is very simple and compact in internal and external structure of advertizing board and having clear color and excellent in sense of beauty.
The present invention comprises, in order to
achieve above-described objects,
piled members formed by piling a plurality of transparent plastic plates of board shape;
light reflecting portions formed by engraving letters or figures on rear portion of the transparent plastic plate;
coating layers formed by coating polymer material being big in refraction rate than the plastic plate on to surface of the plastic plate;
colored portions which are selectively applied with paint passing through only particularly colored light to all directions of side surface of each plastic plate forming the piled members;
supporting frames for fixing by receiving the piled members;
a plurality of partitioning walls integrally formed to the supporting frame which are interposed between the supporting frame and the piled members so that each independent chamber is partitioned;
illuminating lamps which are provided by at least one at each chamber partitioned by the partitioning walls, and that a portion confronting to side surface of the piled member includes a condensing lens; and
an illumination control device for controlling a brightness and lighting-on order of the illuminating lamps provided in each chamber;
so that advertizing effect is obtained by making the letters or figures to be changed from moment to moment by a light synthesized color only by the lighting-on control of the illuminating lamps.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG.2 is a cross sectional view of plastic plate,
FIG.3 is a diagram of area rediated with light from an illuminating lamp,
FIG.4 is an exploded perspective view of piled members of the present invention,
FIG.5 is front view showing an embodiment of the present invention, and
FIG.6 is a diagram of one example showing a production of various colors. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described more in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG.1 shows a cross sectional view of the present. invention, and a transparent plastic plate 1 having
thin and wide area, for example, a plurality of plastic plates 1 formed with acryl resin plate which is cheap and capable of easily obtaining are piled so as to form a piled member doing a role of advertizing board or ornamental picture frame.
The letters or figures as a desired advertizing draft are engraved on rear surface, that is, bottom surface by a reversed shape so as to form a light reflecting portion 3 which makes to reflect when the engraved boundary surface receives a light.
A coated layer 4 is formed in which polymeric material than the plastic plate, for example, silicon is applied in thin on at least one side surface of the plastic plate 1. Since the coated layer 4 is polymeric material, a refraction rate of light is high, and since a reflection property of light becoming to reflect a light incident more than a predetermined angle is high, when a light is radiated from a hereinafter described illuminating lamp 5, it becomes to do a role as an isolating film for isolating a leakage of light to a neighboring plastic plate so that the light is concentrated to the light reflecting portion 3 so as to have further more clear color.
A reference numeral symbol 6 is a supporting frame for fixing by receiving the piled members 2, and a plurality of partitioning walls 7 are integrally formed
and an end portion of the partitioning wall 7 is contacted to a side portion of the piled member 2 so that independent chambers 8 partitioned by the partitioning wall 7 are included.
One or a plurality of illuminating lamp(s) 5 are positioned at each chamber 8. The illuminating lamps 5 radiate a light into interior of the plate through the side surface portion of the plastic plate 1, and the portion confronting to the side surface portion of the plastic plate 1 is formed to a convex lens 9, and remaining portion is applied with in-transmissible material such as mercury so as to prevent the light to be scattered to all direction of side surface of the illuminating lamp 5 and the light is condensed by a convex lens 9, therefore a concentrating capacity toward front direction of the light becomes increased.
Light transmissive paint of one color of various colors, for example, red(R), green(G), yellow(Y), blue(B) is colored at around of side surface of the plastic plate 1 confronting to each chamber 8 formed by the plurality of partitioning walls 7, or colored portion 30 attached with separate colored plate having a such color is formed, and colored portion 10 determines a passing color of light to be radiated to interior of the plastic plate 1.
FIG.2 shows a cross sectional view the plastic
plate 1 engraved with advertising draft, which is a diagram showing that the plastic plate 1 is cut out to a mountain shape, bent surface shape, low wave shape whereby forming a reflecting portion 3, and since reflecting degree of light becomes different in response to the engraved shape, atmosphere can be differently produced by little in accordance with engraved shape, and generally mountain shape (Λ type) is used much, and in case of cutting out to the mountain shape ( Λ type), an inclined angle of the boundary surface is desirable at about 15 - 45 degrees, and at this moment, since the cut out inclined surface is semi-transparent state, the light becomes reflected to forward direction.
FIG.3 shows a diagram of area influenced with light radiated from the illuminating lamps, and since respective illuminating lamps 5 send light, only to forward direction, only one portion of the plastic plate 1 is shined, but since a plurality of lamps are arranged around all directions of the plate, dead angle area of the light is not produced.
FIG.4 shows an exploded perspective view the plied member 2 engraved with letters and figures, and when the letters or figures are engraved to reversed shape by dividing a part by part to respective plastic plate 1, and in this invention, english letter COKE and a sea
gull shape flying on a sea are engraved for example.
Quantity of the plastic plates 1 used at this moment is desirable at about from two(2) to six(6) in response to the letters or figures, and in this invention, since the COKE includes four(4) alphabets, conveniently four(4) are used.
Firstly, C is engraved to first plate 11 which is a top plastic plate, 0 is to second plate 12 of a position corresponding to its letter position, k and E are engraved respectively to third plate 13 and fourth plate 14, and the figures also, i.e., a circle, a sea gull and waves are separated to each plate and engraved by same method, and thereafter when four plates are piled, the COKE and the figures are visible therethrough at front of the piled member.
FIG.5 shows a front view showing an embodiment of the present invention, and length and breadth of the plastic plate are divided into four equal parts and partitioned to have respectively four chambers, a paint having a particular color is colored or a colored plate is attached to side surface portion of each plastic: plate confronting to respective chamber 8 whereby a colored portion 10 is formed, for example, a green colored plate(G) is attached to the first plate 11 positioned with A lamp, a red colored plate(R) is attached to the second plate 12 positioned with B lamp,
a yellow colored plate(Y) to the third plate 13 positioned with C lamp, and a blue colored plate(B) to the fourth plate 14 positioned with D lamp, or a paint transmissive for a light of such color is colored.
Respective illuminating lamps 5 are connected to a lighting-on control device 15 for controlling the lighting-on order, lighting-on time and brightness of light whereby operated in response to a situation inputted to the lighting-on control device, and as a lighting-on of decorative lamps of Christmas tree, the lighting-on state can be variously produced in response to program.
If a light is lighted on to all A lamps of respective chamber by the lighting-on control device, the light radiated from each A lamp passes through the green colored portion (G) of the first plate 11 and then collides to the light reflecting portion 1 which is a boundary portion of letter C whereby C letter of green is seen through toward forward direction.
The reason occurring a phenomenon as this is because, since the boundary portion engraved from the plastic plate acts as a hinderance against straight movement of light, the light radiated from A lamp is passed through the green colored portion (G) and then collided to the light reflecting portion formed by C letter whereby a direction of light is changed and
advanced to forward direction of the piled member so that the letters are seen through with same color as the green colored portion(G).
On the other hand, when the light is lighted on at the same time to all of remaining B,C and D lamps, C letter is seen through with green, the letter 0 to red, the letter K to yellow, and the letter E to blue, and each letter is exhibited respectively by different color, and in case when the light reflecting portion 3 receives a plurality of colors of light at the same time, it becomes to have color of synthesized light.
That is, since the light is possible in expression of all colors by synthesis, the letters and figures can be continuously changed to various colors in response to time in accordance with the color of the colored portion 10 colored to the side surface portion of the plastic plate 1 corresponding to respective chamber 8 and presence or absence of lighting-on of the illuminating lamp 5.
Above described embodiment is that of exemplifying a production of simple color for helping a understanding of the invention, but in case of constructing as FIG.6, the production of infinite colors can be obtained.
In the embodiment of FIG.6, in case when the side surface portion of all plastic plates 1 are colored by
respectively different colors by partitioned portions and the illuminating lamps provided to each chamber is prepared at more than one and then the condensing lens portion which is a front portion of the illuminating lamp is also colored with paint of respectively different color, the production of various colors as a picture of color television can be obtained.
That is, the light of respectively different color radiated from all directions of the plastic plate is collided to the light reflecting portion of the letter or figure and then advanced with direction change to forward direction of the plastic plate and simultaneously the letters or figures of synthesized colors are produced, at this moment, if a multiplicity of the illuminating lamps are provided at one chamber and the plastic plates and the illuminating lamps are all colored with respectively different colors, really indescribable various colors can be made to be exhibited in response to the lighting-on combination of a plurality of the illuminating lamps positioned at one chamber and the lighting-on combination of all lamps and all of these become possible only by the colored situation and the lighting-on control of the illuminating lamps.
Here, it is not required to color all portions, and in case when a particular portion is not colored
with any color, since white light is radiated as it is, the brightness and atmosphere can be adjusted by synthesizing other colored light.
Explaining an operation and effect of the present invention constructed as these, it will be as follows.
To a plurality of the plastic plate prepared, the letters and figures are divided at part by part and engraved to respectively different plate and piled.
When the plate piled as these is seen from front, it seems as engraved by one complete letter and figure. Since the illuminating lamp provided at each chamber is applied with in-transmissive material of light at its side surface whereby condensing and straight advancing property of light are increased, required electric power consumption can be decreased and clearness of advertizing draft can be increased.
Enumerating more concretely the effect of the present invention constructed as these, it will be as follows.
First, since the invention of this application can quite freely produce various colors by a light synthesis only by the lighting-on control of the illuminating lamp, visible advertizing effect is very high,
second, since it is a simple piled structure of transparent plastic plate, visible public pollution is
not induced as conventional advertising board,
third, since extremely delicate figure can be expressed to the plastic plate by a computer engraver, various advertisement can be produced,
fourth, since only the advertising draft of letters and figures are made to be exposed, electric power consumption is very little,
fifth, since a providing space is small and part used for expressing the letters or figures is none at all. weight is light and manufacturing cost is very cheap,
sixth, since part capable of being damaged is none, there is advantages that duration is long and maintenance and repairing are easy.
It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to above described embodiment, and those which various changes are possible from the invention seized from claims described below are nothing but a readily anticipated equivalent, and its usage is also a thing that can be variously applied.
