Total solids content was 43.2%. The latex gel fraction was 37.8%.

Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à des polymères réactifs, tels que des polymères en émulsion aqueuse, comprenant des chaînes latérales souples rattachés à une extrémité, et préparés à partir d'isocyanates éthyléniquement insaturés. Ces polymères réactifs présentent une insaturation éthylénique à proximité de la surface ou dans la surface des particules formant les polymères, l'insaturation éthylénique étant reliée au polymère par des chaînes latérales souples suspendues ou rattachées à une extrémité. Cette invention se rapporte également au procédé de préparation de ces polymères réactifs, à des formulations réticulables basées sur ces polymères réactifs, ainsi qu'à des films thermoplastiques et réticulés préparés à partir de ces derniers. Ces polymères réactifs peuvent être utilisés comme revêtements décoratifs ou fonctionnels, encres, adhésifs, apprêts de tissus et matières d'étanchéité.
