Description

RECIPIENT POUR DEJECTIONS CANINES SOLIDESCONTAINER FOR SOLID CANINE DEJECTIONS
The present invention relates to a container for solid canine excrement, comprising a pot-shaped element provided with an upper opening and a bottom arranged to be placed on the ground and to receive excrement when they are emitted by a dog, said pot-shaped element having a flexible side wall integral with the bottom and arranged to be closed so as to close the container after use.
Dog excrement and in particular their droppings are a source of pollution and degradation of nature and urban environments. Therefore, dog owners should be encouraged to take steps to prevent the soil from becoming soiled. The distribution of flexible bags that are used as a glove to collect droppings, then wrap them to throw them with the garbage has been insufficient, in particular because it disgusts potential users and because the droppings leave soil on the ground. This is why we sought a solution in another method consisting in placing a container in the form of a pot under the hindquarters of a dog about to defecate or even under that of a dog about to defecate. to urinate. The publication US-A-3937509 describes a container of this kind, provided with a handle and intended to be lined internally by a flexible plastic bag which can be closed by a knot and discarded after use.
However, the use of devices of this kind could not be extended, for obvious reasons of space and lack of convenience in transport and employment.
The present invention relates to a container for dog excrement arranged in a simple and inexpensive manner, having a low weight and a small footprint before use and which can be placed on the ground in a stable position where it forms a sort of pot under the hindquarters of a dog to receive its droppings and preserve the soil of any stain. After use, this container can be closed and discarded with its contents.
For this purpose, the invention relates to a container of the type indicated in the preamble, characterized in that said side wall includes gathering means arranged to vertically compress this flexible wall against the bottom in a storage position before use and to deploy it partially , at a desired height, in a receiving position.
Thus, the gathering of the side wall, partially deployed, ensures the container in an open and stable position to receive the droppings. Then, the full deployment of this gathering allows to close the container by knotting immediately after use without getting your hands dirty and even without having to touch the bottom containing the excrement, transport the container and / or throw it with its contents.
In an advantageous embodiment, the side wall consists of two coaxial sleeves, connected to each other by fixing lines extending axially from one end to the other and distributed around the periphery of said wall .
Preferably, these sleeves are made from a flexible and relatively thin opaque synthetic film, and the fixing lines are welding, stitching or gluing lines.
In the preferred embodiment, the gathering means comprise slides distributed around the periphery of said side wall and each formed by two consecutive fixing lines, and gathering threads drawn through these slides.
The bottom is advantageously made up of two flexible synthetic sheets, reinforced by a rigid or semi-rigid sheet of synthetic or cardboard material, inserted between these two flexible sheets. Preferably, the bottom and the side wall are connected by a weld along their corresponding perimeter, the lower ends of the gathering threads being locked in this weld.
The upper opening of the side wall may be provided with at least one string or ribbon, of the leash type.
The present invention and its advantages will appear more clearly in the following description of an exemplary embodiment, with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
- la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'une partie du récipient jetable selon l'invention, en cours de fabrication,FIG. 1 is a perspective view of part of the disposable container according to the invention, during manufacture,
- la figure 2 représente ce récipient terminé, dans une position de stockage avant emploi,FIG. 2 represents this finished container, in a storage position before use,
- la figure 3 représente le même récipient prêt à l' emploi, dans une position dite de réception,FIG. 3 represents the same container ready for use, in a so-called receiving position,
- la figure _+ représente le même récipient après emploi, contenant des déjections, dans une position déployée, et- Figure _ + shows the same container after use, containing droppings, in a deployed position, and
- la figure 5 représente le même récipient après emploi, contenant des déjections et fermé par nouage.- Figure 5 shows the same container after use, containing droppings and closed by knotting.
The figures show a container 1 for droppings, pot-shaped, preferably made from a very thin film, made of opaque synthetic material, flexible, waterproof and designed to be discarded after use. The synthetic material used for the manufacture of this container can advantageously have biodegradable characteristics, or be produced with recycled products. It is also possible to make this container from natural products such as corn husks, bamboo, etc. Moreover , the material used must preferably be a material which can be handled without noise so as not to frighten or even intrigue the animal.
It has a rigid or semi-rigid flat bottom 2, a side wall 3 provided with gathering means so that it can be compressed vertically, then deployed partially and completely to be knotted, and a string or ribbon 6 connected to the upper opening 5 of the pot, of sufficient length (for example 1.50 m) to be held by the owner of the dog during use, by means of a handle
The string is preferably white or fluorescent to be clearly visible at night.
The side wall 3 is produced by means of two coaxial tubular sleeves 3a, 3b connected to each other by fixing lines 8, which are generally weld lines. These lines 8 extend axially from one end to the other, and are distributed more or less regularly around the periphery of said side wall 3, so as to form two by two slides for gathering threads 9. L bottom 2 consists of two superimposed flexible synthetic sheets reinforced by an inner, rigid or semi-rigid sheet of synthetic or cardboard material. The bottom 2 is connected to the side wall 3 pa of a weld line on their corresponding perimeter, blocking in this weld the lower ends of the gathering threads 9.
At this stage of the manufacture of the element 1 in the form of a pot, the upper ends of the gathering threads 9 protrude from the upper opening 5 and allow the side wall 3 to be gathered so as to compress it vertically against the bottom 2. The string 6 is then wound around the element 1 thus compressed, and a fastener 10, capable of carrying advertising slogans, can be placed around this element perpendicularly to the ribbon 6 to further strengthen the support. The upper ends of the gathering threads 9 can then be cut. This container can be used as follows. Before use, i can be stored and transported in the compact form illustrated by FIG. 2. For use, the clip 10 is undone, the string 6 is unwound and the side wall 3 is partially deployed according to the desired height. The pot can then be placed on the ground under the rear milk of a dog to receive his droppings. When the dog has finished, o unfold the side wall 3 completely using the string 6, which avoids having to bend down, put the string inside the container and then tie a knot in it, before throw the whole jar with its contents in a trash can.
The present invention is not limited to the example described above, but it extends to all modifications or variants obvious to a person skilled in the art. In particular to facilitate transport, the container 1, in its compressed state, can advantageously be transported in a reusable case provided for this purpose, this case being able to be worn by the user for example as a shoulder strap such as a bag or a camera . This case-strap set can also be used as an advertising medium.
