  • This invention relates to a gravitationally locked structural joint to join together elongated structural members from all angles.
  • I provide a gravitationally locked structural joint for constructions that can be speedily and accurately assembled and dismantled each cross member having at each end a "T" shaped lug of any cross section shape, by way of example square, round, rectangular, hexegon or the like, a multiplicity of which can be slotted into any hollow section shaped uprights at the top and/or base, by way of example square, round, rectangular members or the like. without external encumberances, by way of example clamps nuts & bolts or the like.

Abstract

Des joints de construction, à verrouillage par gravité, permettent de réunir des éléments de construction à n'importe quel angle et sans entraves extérieures (fig. 5) telles que des boulons ou des éléments de serrage ou autre, et peuvent être assemblés et démontés sur place, de manière précise et rapide, sans utiliser d'outils à main ou autres. Il s'agit d'un joint antidérapant qui supprime les faiblesses dues notamment à un serrage manuel inadéquat des boulons ou à d'autres opérations manuelles requises qui n'auraient pas été effectuées. Ces joints à verrouillage par gravité peuvent se composer de profilés verticaux (1) à section creuse carrée, et des profilés horizontaux (2) à section creuse carrée, comportant des talons de fixation (4) en T à leurs extrémités. On effectue l'assemblage notamment en mettant les profilés verticaux debout afin d'y accrocher une multiplicité de profilés horizontaux par les talons (4) pour remplir la section creuse (fig. 1), le prochain profilé vertical étant placé dans le talon supérieur (4) en saillie afin de compléter le joint. Des contre-fiches (5) peuvent être télescopiques et comprennent des talons (4) angulaires ou pivotants montés sur des plaques de fermeture (3).
