Abstract

Gravitationally Locked Structural Joints join together structural members from all angles, free from external encumbrances (Fig. 5), such as bolts, clamps or the like that can be speedily and accurately assembled and dismantled on site without hand tools or the like; is a nonslip joint thereby eliminating manual frailties by way of example failure to tighten bolts or any other necessary operations. Gravitationally Structural Joints may consist of Square Hollow Section uprights (1) and Square Hollow Section horizontals (2) which have "T" shaped lugs (4) on their ends. Assembly, by way of example, can be achieved by standing uprights on end for a multiplicity of horizontals with lugs (4) to be hooked into uprights to fill hollow section (Fig. 1) for the next upright to be placed onto upper protruding lugs (4) to complete the joint. Brace Struts (5) may be telescopic and have swivel round or angular logs (4) mounted on blanking off plates (3). <IMAGE>
