Abstract

Procédé de désinfection de l'air dans les conduits d'air de ventilation, selon lequel on vaporise sous forme d'aérosol dans l'air en écoulement dans le conduit, un désinfectant non toxique et sensiblement non volatil, notamment un complexe d'ammonium quaternaire, à l'aide de micro-pulvérisateurs, et on permet au désinfectant de se précipiter sur les parois du conduit. En outre, on peut ioniser l'air sensiblement sans produire d'ozone. On a également prévu un système de mise en ÷uvre de ce procédé, comportant un conduit d'air (1) possédant un dispositif de désinfection de l'air (2) en écoulement dans celui-ci, constitué d'un ensemble de buses de pulvérisation (5) reliées par l'intermédiaire d'une pompe de dosage (10) à un réservoir (11) à désinfectant dissous, et d'un débitmètre (3) destiné à réguler la pompe de dosage (10). Par ailleurs, des électrodes d'ionisation (4) sont prévues dans le conduit (1) et reliées à une source de haute tension, et un détecteur d'ozone (6) est monté à une certaine distance en aval de ces électrodes (4) et est relié à une unité de commande (8) adaptée pour commander la source de haute tension.
