- the bucket in accordance with my application is intended for the forming of compost heaps. Dung for composting and a composting ingredient such as peat are scooped into the bucket. These are mixed together inside the loader bucket and the loader bucket is then used to pile the mixed material to form compost heaps.

- two trans ⁇ verse shafts 2 are placed crosswise to the loader bucket 1 and in the vicinity of its end wall, the said shafts deriving their operating power via two chain sprockets located on the outside of the other end wall. These chain sprockets derive their operating power via a chain 5 driven, for instance, by a hydraulic motor connected to the tractor's hydraulic system.
- Mixing blades 3 have been installed in the manner of a screw line pattern on either of the shafts 2, the orien ⁇ tation of the said blades resembling essentially that of the screw line pattern.
- An essential feature of the in ⁇ vention is that the spiral screw is formed expressly of blades of the type described here, the said blades being fully separate from one another in the implementation manner here presented.
- the base of the screw is of a continuous structure, but blades of the type here described protrude from it.
- the mixing blades 3 can be grouped into more than one series along the shafts 2. The orientation of the screw pitch of the series may differ from one another.
- the direction of rotation of a particular shaft may be directed to be opposite to that of an adjacent shaft. It is also possible to have the all rotation directions changed to the opposite by changing the direction of ro- tation of the drive device 6. These measures can be used to adapt the device's mixing capacity to meet the needs of various situations.
- the mixing devices can also be constructed in such a manner that they can be detached from the loader bucket and thereby allow the loader bucket to be used for other purposes.
- the loader bucket in question is used expressly for the purpose of forming compost by scooping dung or liquid manure and auxiliary composting ingredients, such as peat or the like, into the loader bucket. These materials are mixed in the loader bucket and are then discharged to form the compost heap.
