Abstract
Procédé et appareil (10) permettant d'appliquer des fibres de préforme (72) à des moules foraminés (16) utilisant des brins de liant (48) ainsi que des fibres de verre. Un brin de fibre de verre est coupé et entraîné dans une goulotte (20). Un écoulement d'air (71) est orienté longitudinalement dans la goulotte vers le moule foraminé. La fibre de liant (74) est séparée en filaments (76) par l'écoulement d'air. Le brin de fibre de verre (52) est coupé et entraîné dans la goulotte en aval des filaments. Le verre coupé (78) et les filaments de liant se mélangent dans la goulotte puis sont entraînés par l'écoulement d'air sur le moule de préforme. Le mélange peut être évacué de la goulotte par une soufflante afin d'obtenir une couverture plus uniforme des moules de grande taille.
