  • the advantage of this preferred embodiment is the particularly simply and safe manner in which the device can be made ready for use.

So during making the device ready for use the reservoir with radioactive liquid remains safely enclosed by the shielding sleeve. After using the device for administering a dose of radioactive liquid, the emptied reservoir can simply be taken out of the reservoir by removing the lid from the sleeve-like portion of the shielding sleeve.

  • a lead container 31 is further provided inside the mount. After use of the device the tube set including the reservoir which is then empty can simply be taken out of the device and be replaced by a fresh tube set and a reservoir filled with radioactive liquid.

Abstract

On décrit un dispositif pour l'administration orale d'un liquide radioactif comprenant un récipient pour le liquide radioactif placé dans un manchon de protection, un récipient distinct du manchon pour le liquide de rinçage, un tube de connexion pour relier l'intérieur du récipient contenant le liquide de rinçage avec l'intérieur du récipient contenant le liquide radioactif, et un tube d'aspiration de longueur suffisante pour qu'une des extrémités puisse plonger dans le récipient de liquide radioactif et l'autre extrémité, à savoir l'extrémité d'aspiration, atteindre la bouche du patient. Le récipient de liquide radioactif est fermé de manière étanche au moyen d'un bouchon en caoutchouc que l'on peut percer. Les extrémités du tube de connexion et du tube d'aspiration qui sont reliées au récipient de liquide radioactif sont munies d'aiguilles creuses, et le tube de connexion est muni d'une vanne à sens unique pour empêcher que le liquide radioactif ne coule du réservoir dans le récipient du liquide de rinçage.
