- the invention relates to a method for reducing the volume of materials by pressing in a screw press and a screw press for carrying out this method.
- Screw presses are known in many embodiments. They are used primarily in the plastics processing industry, and they are used to manufacture semi-finished plastic products, but also finished products of various types. It is now known that when processing different plastics, it is necessary to design the screw presses and in particular the screw according to the material to be processed. This leads to a large number of different types of screw presses. The range of screw press manufacturers is correspondingly large.
