Intermediate the ends of section 11 is an inwardly extending integral flange 13 with an axially extending sleeve-like support 14. Slots extending downwardly from the top are formed in the support 14 to provide spaced extensions 15 and 16 (see Fig. 2) to receive pinions 17 therebetween. The pinions are supported on shafts 18 extending through holes 19 and 20.

This assures that the hole 31 will be exactly parallel to the holes 19 and 20 for quick and accurate assembly.

Abstract

Le but est de fournir un compresseur compact, peu couteux et sans vibration, d'un assemblage aise. Ce compresseur est du type lineaire ou une section de logement (11) contenant un vilebrequin (29) et des pignons (17) d'un synchroniseur de contre-equilibrage (39, 40 et 21), possede des moyens de support s'etendant axialement (14) pour les pignons formes integralement avec ces derniers au travers d'une bride interieure (13) egalement solidaire avec la section ou carter de logement, de sorte que les trous pour les arbres des pignons puissent etre formes dans les moyens de support lorsque le trou (31) dans le carter du vilebrequin est forme. Ceci permet de percer tous les trous de maniere exactement parallele et evite un travail d'assemblage qui prend du temps, travail necessaire dans la fabrication des compresseurs de l'art anterieur lorsque les sections du corps du compresseur sont assemblees. En amenageant une grande ouverture au travers de la partie superieure des moyens de support ou au travers du fond du carter, un alesage axial peut etre perce pour recevoir une tete de piston (21b). En reduisant le nombre des pieces du compresseur et les tolerances de fabrication des pieces et l'utilisation d'organes en forme de U (141) comme guides pour les cremailleres a pignons (37) et comme organes de retenue pour les arbres (18) des pignons, il est possible de realiser une economie dans les couts de fabrication.
