Abstract

Materiales y composiciones de compuestos de fosfato de aluminio que comprenden un estructura formada por un núcleo orientado centralmente y una corteza dispuesta alrededor o sobre el núcleo. El núcleo puede estar formado a partir de un material no TiO2, como fosfato de aluminio. La corteza puede comprender una o más capas de un material de pigmento convencional, es decir, un material con un alto índice de refracción, como TiO2. Los materiales de compuestos de fosfato de aluminio divulgados pueden estar diseñados para proporcionar adicionalmente un grado deseado de resistencia a la corrosión y /o un grado deseado de protección antimicrobiana.
