Abstract
Esta invención proporciona el ingrediente activo herbicida, un cristal de sal dimetilamina de N-fosfonometil glicina (glifosato), su proceso de preparación y una formulación sólida que contiene la sal dimetilamina de glifosato cristalina y su aplicación. Dicho proceso comprende agregar glifosato y una cantidad de solvente en un reactor convencional e introducir un gas dimetilamina, en donde la temperatura de reacción se controla entre 5 y 90 ºC. Una vez completada la reacción, la temperatura se reduce lentamente a cierto valor, se precipita una sal dimetilamina de glifosato cristalina (o se precipita después de agregar un cristal semilla).
