Abstract

La emisión de particulados y de hidrocarburos incombustos en las emisiones de gas de escape de combustibles de hidrocarburo liquido, especialmente combustibles diesel y fuel-oils, se reduce incorporando en el combustible una cantidad efectiva de un complejo de metal alcalino, alcalino-terreo o de tierra rara soluble en aceite de fórmula M(R)mnL en la cual M es el catión metálico de valencia m, R es el radical o unidad estructural constituyente de un compuesto orgánico RH que contiene un átomo activo de hidrocarburo, de preferencia una betadicetona, n es un entero usualmente 1,2,3, o 4 y L es una molécula de ligando donante orgánico (base Lewis).
