A are the feet oi' the case, the surfaces of which are slightly inclined inward and upward, and are ornamentedgrith sunken leaves and vines. The lower and inner edges of the feet A are curved, and have a scroll in relief, formed upon their upper parts.

In the center of' the hase is aA shield, B, in relief', and ornamented with sunken vines and leaves. At the sides ofthe shield are raised scrolls upon projections I), surrounded with a raised edge.

Upon the upper corners of the projections D are triangular ornaments C, having their lower edges scalloped, and heilig ornaniented with sunken dots and lines.

At the tops ot' the feet A are formed rounded shoulders E, haring square shoulders F above and below them.

From the upper shoulders F the lower part G ot' the body of' the case rines with a slight inward curve, is ornamented with sunken leaves and angular and curved lines, and has a scailoped ornament, H, upon its iniddie part.

The edges ot' the lower part G ot' the body ot' the case are ornamented with a couoavity, l, and a. projection, J.

Upon the middle partot the side edges ot' the body ot' the case is formed an arm, l, the lower end of which is curved inward and upward, and `joins the said edges. The upper end of the arms K is made in the form of a. leaf',

and is ornamented with leaves and lines. The middle part of the arms K is connected with the edge ofthe case-body hy an ornamental stud, L.

Upon the top ot' the case is an ornament M, made to represent leaves, arranged around a central boss, having a star formed upon it. The ornament M is ornamented with leaves and lines.

Beneath the lower side parts ot' the ornament M are two ornaments, N, leaving openings between them and the stem ot' the orua meut- M. The ornaments U are made with seailoped lower edges, and are ornamented with lines.

Upon the edges of the case, at the lower ends ot' the ornaments N, are formed rounded projections U, which are ornamented with lines and small circles.

Upon the side edges ofthe case, at the hase of' the arch or curve ot its upper part, are formed ornamental projections l, made with a pointed outer part, having their upper and lower edges ornamented with curved proieetions and concavit'ies, having theirinner edges scalloped, and having in their faces ornamental recesses.

The doorway and doorfreme are made with seinicirenlar ends and parallel sides, and are ornamented with angularlines, triangular and circular dots, and other shaped figures, as shown iu the illustration.

I claim as my invention- A design for a clock-case, consisting of the ornamental configuration herein shown and described. n
