To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LEONARD S. BEALS, of Astoria, in the eounty of Queens and State of New York, have originated and designed at new Pattern for Shirt-Studs, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference living had to the accompanying drawing, making part of this specitieation, in which drawing- Figure 1 represents a plan or top View. Fig. 2 is a, side elevation.

This design for shirt-stud consists in unoblong rectangular cup, with it flat rim and rounded corners, in combination with a cylindrienl coral fitting said cup.

In the drawing, the letter A designates a shirt-stud, which is composed of an oblong cup, (1., and a. spiral shnnk, I). Said cup is provided with u lint rim, 0, the corners of whieh nre rounded, and in the cup is placed a cylindrienl coral, (I.
