DESIGN FOR A GASALIER.
Specification forming part of Design No. 8,605, dated September 7, 1875 application filed August 27, 1875. [Term of Patent 31} years] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHRISTIAN HERTER, of the city of New York, N. Y., have invented a Design for a Gasalier, of which the following is a specification:
The photographic illustration shows the na ture of the design.
It consists of a suspending-pipe, A, which supports the group of halfglobes B, the crowns of which, 0, are in substantially the same horizontal plane.
It is manifest that the number of globes may be increased at will, and the design multiplied in the construction of chandeliers of a more elaborate character, Without departing from the design, as shown.
What claim as n1 y invention and production is- A design for a gasalier in which two or more half-globes are suspended in crowns that are in substantially the same horizontal plane, substantially as shown.
