To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, SIIUBAEL Go'r'rLn, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Jewelry-Ba-ses, of which the tollowingis it specification:

The figure is a view illustrating my design.

My invention has for its object to furnish, and consists in, a new design for the bases of buttons, studs, pins, earrings, scarf pins, lockets, and other articles of jewelry, as hereinafter described.

Ais the central portion, which is surrounded by, or is made solid with, a rim or bissel, B,

which is itselfsurroni'uled with a row of shot, C. The shot 0 are surrounded with a, wide flat border, D. lhe center A is made circular or oval, and the border 1) is made square or oblong, with rounded corners.

I claim as my invention-- The design for jewelry-bases herein shown and described, formed by a Wide fiet rectangular border, 1), with rounded corners about a row of shot, 0, surrounding the central portion A.
