DESIGN FOR A RING OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Desi gn No. 27,524, dated August 17, 1897.
Application filed June 2,1897. Serial No. 639,173. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that l, GEORGE E. BLRNS,of Central Falls, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have in vented and produced a new and original Design for 3. Bi ng or Similar Article, of which the followingis a specification, reference being had to the accompanying Figure l is a top view of my design. Fig. 2 is an edge View, and Fig. 3 a side view.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.
The leading feature of my design consists in raised foliated ornaments placed on each side of the central jeweled or similar setting, the body of the foliated ornaments being enameled in colors.
In the drawings, A indicates the hoop of the ring, 13 the jeweled setting, and C C foliated ornaments extending from each side of drawings, forming part thereofr the central setting. These ornaments are widest at the central setting and, diminishing in width, end in a point extending over the hoop of the ring. The foliated ornaments C are incl'osed in the raised border 0', and the surface c Within the inclosing border is of colored enamel, forming a smooth surface, presenting to the eye the appearance of brilliant foliage.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a ring or similar article herein shown and described.
