DESIGN FOR SHAWL-PATTERN.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,849, dated September 2, 1873 application filed August 9, 1873. [Term of Patent 31} years.]

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, FREDERICK WINK, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a Design for a Shawl-Pattern, of which the following is a specification:

The main peculiarities of my design, which is clearly illustrated by the figure in the accompanying drawing, are the stripes to and b, which are of the same general character, both being ornamented by dots and bars, arranged in a manner too clearly shown in the drawing to need description.

The stripes on and b are members of the main stripe A of the pattern, which is otherwise composed of a series of parallel plain stripes, bars, or ribs of varying widths, and of dili'erent shades or colors.

Irrespective of the colors employed, I claim- 1. The design for the stripe a, as shown and described.

2. The design for the whole pattern, as described and represented.
