To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, FREDERICK WINK, of the city and county ot' Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented a Design for Shawl-Pattern, oi' which the following is a specification:

The figure in the accompanying drawing clearly illustrates my design, which consists ot' two stripes, A and B, upon :t plain ground, D, the stripe A having a central rib, a, and a rib, I), at each side of the same, ornamented by parallel rows of dashes and dots, and the stripe l being similarly ornamented by t eentral rib, d, both of the said stripes being otherwise composed ol' a series ol' plain parallel stripes, bars, or ribs of varying Widths and different shades or colors, some blended into each other and others strongly constructed, as shown.

Irrespective of the colors employed, I claim- The design for a shawl-pattern, as described, and as represented in and by the accompanying,` drawing.
