DESIGN FOR TAILORS GOOSE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,832, dated September 2, 1873; application filed August 2, 1873. [Term of Patent 14 years] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSEPH HARGRAVE, of Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented a Design for the Handle of a Tailors Goose, of which the following is a specification:
The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustration,
, to which reference is made.
That part of the handle which is to be grasped by the operator has imparted to it the resemblance of an ear of corn, A, of which each end is inserted in the mouth of a goose, as shown at B B. These geese are placed 'm's-d-ois, and are provided with short necks G O that are attached to the sad D.
Rings or collars c 0 may be placed around the lower ends of said necks, or said necks may terminate in any other preferred way.
I claim as my inventi0n-- 1. The design for a handle for a tailors goose, said design consisting essentially of two goose-heads, B B, to which the handle proper is applied, substantially in the manner above described.
2. In combination with the two goose-heads 1 3 B, the ear of corn A, constituting the han- JOSEPH HARGRAVE.
