DESIGN FOR STOCKING FABRIC.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6.667, dated May 27, 1873 application filed May 13, 1873.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, UoNYERs BUTTON, of the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented a Design for a Stocking Fabric, of which the following is a specification:

My design for a stocking fabric is fully represented by the figure in the accompanying drawing, and consists of alternating stripes A and I3, each consisting of a series of minor parallel stripes, bars, or ribs, of difi'erent shades or colors, arranged in the manner too clearly shown by the drawing to need minute description.

I prefer that the stripe A shall be dark, and the stripe B light, in order to present a pleas ing contrast; but this is immaterial, and forms no part of the design.
