PETER B. IGHT, OF NEW YORK, N. Y., ASSIGNOR TO NICHOLAS MULLER, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR CLOCK-CASE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 5,638, dated March 5, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PETER B. WIGHT, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for a OloeleGase; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being bad to the accompanying photograph forming part of this specification, in which the design is represented by a front View.

This invention relates to a new and original design for aeloelecase.
The ease proper, A A, which contains thedial D, is embellished on the front by ornaments in relief, and on each side by a large bird, 0 G, representing a crane. The pedestal or base B B is ornamented with foliage, and has at the center of its front a central ornament composed of three members a portion of the upper member extending in to the partA A. The upper portion or top of the design is formed by an Egyptian female bust, E, giving the whole an elegant and finished appearance.
\Vhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The parts A A, B B, and E, combined to form a design for a clock-case, as herein shown and described.
