DESIGN FOR CLOCK-PROFITS.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same To all whom 'it may concern Be it known that I, NICHOLAS MLLER, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a. new and ornamental Design for a Clock-Front; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying photograph forming part of this specification, in which* The design is represented by nfront view.
This invention relates to a design for a clock-front, the main features of which are two children a e, partly covered with drapery, sitting near the bottom edge of the design, one on each side of the pemlnhnn-hole b, holding a wreath of leaves over it.
The bottom edge is formed by a. broad ornninentcd bar, with two large arabesques in the center, which diverge toward the sides.
' lghe dial-hole d is situated in the upper portion of f the design. Above it is the top edge, which consists of arabesques, grouped, as seen in the photograph, from each side of which emanates drapery, which continues to the corners of the top.
Each of the corners is snrmonnted by :in ornamental button.
Below the drapery, on each side of the dial-hole (Z, is a medallion, one of an Indian head, the other of a. female head. The whole background is embellished by suitable ornaments, as shown in the photograph.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a clock-front, in whole and in part, ns herein shown and described.
