DESIG-N FOR THE BOXES FOR THE TOPS OF BUREAUS.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same General Description.
The irst three figures ofthe drawing represent one of the short boxes which are usually secured at or near each end of the top of a bureau for the support of the standards to which the glass is hung.l
My design consists in forming the fronts of such boxes on a succession of curves, a b c, &c., so as to impart a wavy and graceful appearance to the saine.
The saine design may also be applied to longer boxes, such as shown in lig. 4, which are intended to extend entirely across the top of a bureau, so as to support both of the standards, instead of one only.
Phe molding or inish for the edge of the box may be ofthe character shown in fig. 3, or of other appropriate design.
I claimrPhe design for boxes for the tops of bureaus, substantially as described, and as represented in and by the accompanying drawing.
