To all whom fit may concern Be it known that I, WILLIAM G. ALGno, of Rochester, in thecounty of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Design for Cofns, Burial-Gaskets, 85e.; and l do declare the following to be afull, clear, and exact description thereof.
My improved design relates to the form of' tops and covers of collins and burial-Gaskets; and consists in a curve-ended top, and one or more curve-ended covers, and also in a square end combined with a three-faced side.
To enable others skilled in the art to make and use myiinproved design, I will proceed to describe the same with reference, by letters, to the drawing hereunto annexed making a part of this specification, which represents in perspective a coffin embracing my iinproved design.
The sides a of the con are made of any approved form, as also the ends b.
The cover-frame c is made of form to correspond, except that the ends are curved, as at c', to any desired degree of curvature.
The covers (l, either or both, also have ends curved, as at d'. These curves may be either regular or irregular, and be made to any desired radius.
The top, raised above the cover-frame c, as shown, is made of any suitable style of molding, but with square or straight ends f, and triple-faced sides g gg, substantially as shown.
What I claim as my improved design for coflins, burial-caskets, Ste., is-
1. A curve-ended top frame c, substantially as described and shown.
2. A curve-ended cover d, substantially as described and shown.
3. A raised cofn-top having square ends, and 0u each side three faces, substantially as described and shown.
