DESIGN FOR A BASIN-COCK.
Application filed September 15, 1908.
To all whom it may concern.
Be it known that I, HENRY MUELLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Decatur, in the county of Macon and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Basin- Cocks, of which the following is a specification, ref erence being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, and wherein Figure 1 is an elevation of the basin cock, embodying the design; Fig. 2 a top plan View thereof.
The leading characteristics of the design consist in the novel arrangement or composition of features shown presenting a basin cock of pronounced ornamental inclividuality.
As shown in the accompanying drawing, the cap 1 is dome shaped, having an annular marginal convex enlargement 2 provided with a series of separated elliptical facets 3, beneath which is a hub 4 having radial arms 5 terminating in enlarged cylindrical knobs 6, and beneath this radially armed hub is a cylindrical surface 7, following which is a Specification for Design.

portion 8, the general contour of which is a section having an appearance resembling in a general way a section of a pyramid, the cylindrical wall of which is an ogee curve widening from the top to the base of the portion 8. the convexity of which is provided with an annular series of separated elliptical facets 9. The wall of the portion 8 merges into the wall of a globular body 10, projecting from one side of which is a spout 11, and beneath this is a cone-shaped circular escutcheon 12, projecting from which is screw-threaded neck 13.
The lines of the several portions of the composite features referred to merge into each other, gracefully and harmoniously, presenting a basin cock of simple outline and of artistic and massive appearance.
I claim- The ornamental design for a basin cock substantially as herein shown and described.
