DESIGN FOR A SUPPORTING-BASE FOR vCHRISTMAS TREES.
Specification for Design.
Patented Aug. 14, 1906.
Application filed June 2,1906. Serial No. 319,971. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HANS OLsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hibbing, in the county of St. Louis and State of Minnesota, have invented a new, original, and or namental Design for Supporting-Bases for Christmas Trees, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in-which Figure 1 is a plan view of a supportingbase for Christmas trees embodying my new design, and Fig. 2 is a side or edge view thereof in elevation.
As shown in the drawings, the board is provided with a blue border extending around its edge, which border has displayed thereon a series of golden-colored and fivepointed stars, one of which is located near each of the points of the board and one about midway between said points on the blue border. Radially and alternately disposed on the upper surface of the board and extending from the inner edge of the border are a series of red and white bars, which taper toward their inner ends. On each of said bars is displayed a golden five-pointed star, which are located near the outer ends of said bars. Each of the supporting-legs is provided with red, white, and blue bars or stripes, which run longitudinally with respect to said legs.
I claim The ornamental design for a su portingbase for Christmas trees, as herein s own and described.
