WILLIAM HASLAM, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR TO AUGUST NETTINGER, JR., OF SAME PLAGE.
DESIGN FOR SPICEMILL.
Specification forming part of Design N o. 7.728, dated September 1, 1874; application tiled July 2l, 1874. {Term ofV Patent 7 years.)
To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM HASLAM, of the city of Philadelphia. and State of Penn Sylvania., have originated or invented a. new Design for a Spice-Mill; and that the following is a full and exact description thereof, ret'- erenee being had to the accompanying drawing, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
Figure l. A is the y-wheel,with rim of octagon form, with three arms extending out from the hub, and connecting with rim at six different points of half-circle shape.
Fig. 2. B is the hopper, of octngon form on top, with helironnd molding projecting around the top edge; side of hopper slight ogee form.
Fig. 3. O is the grinding-chamber, with a let surface with acenter of conical form suficient to admit the shaft through, the outside -edges of chamber-plates of half -circle form 5 also, a half-round ear in the center, et top of chamber-plete; also, chamber-support pieces in center, at bottom, of a hollow and square form.
Fig. 4. D is the stand, with four legs, having at the extreme ends rounding eers; legs with e. bold curve, connecting at corners of top of steed; corners of top of stand of a. doubh round forni sides of stand or bese extending down one-fourth, with two half-round forms, connecting with the curves et the corners of top of stand.
Fig. 5. E is the drawer, form of seme flat surfaee,with en apron projecting from the top part of drawer; front of a. double ogee form, and knob in center on front.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
