Be it known that 1, WILLIAM DE FREITAS, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new, originahand ornamental Design for Illuminating-Lamps, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the drawing accompanying and forming part of the same.
The illustration shows a side view of a lamp embodying my new design, which, as will be seen, has for its leading or material features a casing 1, a globe 2, and a base part 3. The casing consists of a body portion ribbed and expanded in an ornamental manner and surmounted by an enlarged portion 4. It also carries a flaring reflector 5. The casing '1 Between the part 4 and the expansion 7 is a continuous series of ornamental apertures or perforations 8, extending entirely around the body. Below the reflector is the transparent globe of a suitable conformation 2. Below the globe is the ornamental base part 3, of substantially conical shape, formed by steps of angular and curved contour. The base also has a series of perforations 9, extending entirely around the same.
Having now described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
