DESIGN FOR A GAS-LAMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No, 35,427, dated December 10, 1901.
Application filed November 12, 1901. Serial No. 8Z;055 Term of patent 14 years- To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, LEE T. ALTON, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, boroughof Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for aGas-Lamp, of which the following is a specification.
My invention resides in a new and original design for a gas-lamp, and the essential features thereof are substantially as illustrated in the drawing forming part of this specification, which is a side elevation of the lamp, partly in perspective.
In the drawing the lamp is distinguished by a long narrow tube 1, having the lower bellshaped part 2 and an inverted circular and conical part 3, located slightly below the top of the tube, which top has alining apertures '4 therein. The lower circular bell-shaped part 2 comprises three elements-viz., the circular conical crown-piece 5, the intermediate ring 6, and the hemispherical reflector 7. At each sideof the tube 1 and extending below the part 7 and above the part 3 are parallel parts 8, having inwardlyextending arms 9 crossing above the tube and below the reflector and united by the fixtures 10 11.
Having described my invention, I claim- The design for a gas-lamp, substantially as herein shown and described. v
