SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,199, dated January 27, 1903. Application filed December 26,1902. Serial No. 136.744. Term of patent 31 years.
To all whmn it Hwy concern:
Beit known thatI, DE WATT PEPPER, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Milford, in the county of Litchfield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Divan-Frame; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The accompanying drawing illustrates a front elevation of my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material features of my design are the plain generally sloping sides 1, which at their outer front extremities rest upon columns the tops of which representdog-like heads 2 with open months, the bottom portions of said columns having fluted parts 3, which surmount toelike portions 4,while the intermediate or body portions 5 of said columns are bounded by compound curves that are intersected by beaded portions 0. The surface of the front rail 7 of the divan, which supports the seat thereof, extends between said eolnmnsand is left perfectly plain.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The ornamental design for a divan-frame, as herein shown and described.
