DESIGN FOR A PATTERN FOR DRESS-SKIRTS.
To (tZZ whom, it may concern:
Beit known that I, HERMINE GUIDEZ, a citizen of the United States,residin g in New York, borough of Manhattan,and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Patterns for Dress-Skirts, of which the following is a specification, reference beinghad to the accompanyingdrawings, forming part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of a dress-skirt pattern, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a horizontal section of the same on line 2 2, Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the skirt-body a is provided near the girdle-piece a with parallel bands I) b, which extend in downward direction from the rear toward the front of the skirt, while similar parallel bands I) exfend from the gird1e-piece a in downward direction to the bottom of the skirt. Undulating bands 6 extend from the longitudinal rear bands 1) across and toward the front of the skirt. Another band 11 extends around the bottom of the skirt. The bands I) b b b are ornamented by undulating or zigzag trimmings. The longitudinal and transverse bands divide the skirt into different sections.

The design for a pattern for dressskirts, as herein shown and described.
