CHESTER T. DRAKE, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR A MIXER-BLADE.
SPECIFICATION' forming part of Design No. 35,664, dated February 4, 1902.
Application filed December 3, 1901. Serial No. 84,579. Term of patent 14 years.
To @ZZ whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, CHESTER T. DRAKE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Chicago, Cook county, State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for a Mixer-Blade for Apparatus for Mixing Granular or Plastic Material-such, for instance, as cement, mortar, or concrete; and I do hereby declare that the following is a specification thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the reference characters marked thereon, and in which- Figure 1 is a pespective View of a mixerblade embodying my design looking toward the convex side A/ thereof; Fig. 2, a perspective View of my design looking toward the concave side A2 thereof, and Fig. 3 a plan View of my design.
The mixer-blade embodying my design illustrated in the accompanying drawings consists in a curved blade A, formed integrally with the hub B, from which it extends in a diagonaldirection with respect to the axis of the hub.
' The blade A is of substantially uniform thickness and of a width equal to that of the hub B. A web a extends between the convex surface A of the blade and the ou ter surface of the adjacent side B of the hub.
The hub B is provided with a rectangular opening b therethrough for receiving a rota table shaft, to which the blade is adapted to be secured.
Having described my design, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Pat= ent, is-V The design for a mixer-blade vas herein shown and described.
