Description

DESIGN.
m. 35,126. Patented Sept. |7, l90l.
LWAGNER; BOTTLE HOLDER. Q
(Applicl Apr. 10, 1901.)
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICEQ EDWARD WAGNER, OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, ASSIGNOR TO THE MODEL BOTTLING MACHINERY COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE-HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,126, dated September 1'7, 1901.
Application filed April 10, 1901. Serial No. 55,255. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EDWARD WAGNER, a citizen of the United States, residing at- St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bottle-Holder, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a bottleholder, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a side view thereof, and Fig. 3 is a front view of the same.
As shown in the drawings, my invention consists of the shape or configuration of a bottle-holder. \Vith the exception of the straight part D its parts are formed in duplicate. The straight part D is the means of connection between the opposite sides of the device, while the parts G and H cross over each other in the lower part of the device in the shape of an X, adjacent to the curves F.
The upper part of the holder is formed in duplicate arches B B, one on each side, terminating toward the front in a short turn on each side C C, which changes the direction of the continuing line of contour from said curves to a straight line at right angles to said arches and connecting same without an interval. Toward the rear the said duplicate arches graduate into straight port-ions E E, converging in straight lines toward the bottom, which terminate in a change of direction or bend F F in the direction of the center of the holder. Each side portion E E after being thus bent then crosses the other like the arms of an X, as above described, and extends to the opposite side, where,by reason of having crossed in the X shape above mentioned, it is drawn out into the form of an attenuated S,the opposite parts G and H being one above the otherat the X-crossing, but substantially in a plane therebeyond in the part formed in the compound or S curve. The parts E E are joined at right angles to the parts forming the X and fork before mentioned, the latter projecting out from the same.
Having described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s-
The design for a bottle-holder,substantiall y as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto signed my name in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
EDWARD WAGNER.
Witnesses:
HUGH K. WAGNER, ESTHER REICENSTEIN.
