DESIGN FOR A POTATO-HOOK."
To ctZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, MANSIR A. HALL, a citizen of the United States, residing at North Hartford, in the county of Washington and State of New York,-have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Potato- Hook,of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new and original design for a potato-hook and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the hook. Fig. 2 is a section along x m, Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a section along y y, Fig. 1.
The invention consists in the design for a potato-hook substantially as shown in the drawings, in which the numeral 1 indicates the head part of the potato-hook, and 2 the tines. The tines along the section-line a: are narrow as compared with the portions thereof nearer the point or free end, (indicated by section-line y.) At such narrowed portions the tines are rounded at their sides, or are what might be in a general way called oval or ovoid shape, as seen in Fig. 2, while along the line 1 the tine is flattened or more of triangular shape. A rib or central ridge runs along the front of each time or tooth.
The design presents a potato-hook having a novel, pleasing, and distinctive appearance.
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a potato-hook substantially as herein shown and described.
