DESIGN FOR A CASE FOR COIN-CONTROLLED WElGHlNG-MACHINES.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDGAR H. COOK, a citizen of the United States, residing at the borough of Brooklyn, city of New York, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Cases of Coin-Controlled \Veighing-Hachinespf which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which I have illustrated my design by a perspective view.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material features of my design consist of the tapering standard of the case, the flaring upper end in elevation, and the rectangular frame at the upper end, together with edge and surface ornaments.
The standard a tapers outwardly toward the base a and toward the upper part a Above the upper part a there is a flaring portion 1), surmounted by a rectangular frame 0, narrow in side elevation, the flaring upper end I) being curved at the sides toward the part c and from the face at the upper edge over toward the part 0.
Upon the surface of the parts a, a, and a are the rosettes 2, 3, and 4, the rosette 3 coming in the center of the standard a, and the rosettes 2 4 at the respective ends of the part a and upon the parts a and a In a central position upon the face of the standard from the rosettes 2 4 are leaflet and knob ornaments 5 6, extending toward the rosette 3.
Upon the side surfaces of the parts a a a are rope-pattern ornaments 7, terminating with leaf ornaments. A rope-pattern ornament 8, terminating in leaf ornaments, ex tends along the surfaces of the sides of the parts a Z) and the frame 0. In the surface of the portion ct of the standard is a panel (I, with ornamental rib edges and aleaflet ornament 9 on the face of the panel near thelower portion.
Rib surface ornaments 10 extend from the rib edges of the panel across the face and over the sides of the portion 0?, and a rib surface ornament 11 extends across the face above the panel, and leaf and scroll ornaments 12 and 13 are upon the surface of the part a and Z) of the standard and the corners thereof.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a case for a coin-controlled weighingmachine, substantially as shown and described.
