DESIGN FOR A SlNGLETREE-HOOK.

To all whom it may concern;

Be it known that we, LOUIs RoEHLK and FRITZ ROEHLK, of the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Singletree- Hook, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.

Figure 1 is a side elevation showing our improved singletree-hook. Fig. 2 is a plan View. Fig. 3 is a view showing the outer end. Fig. 4 is a longitudinal sectional view.

The essential feature of our design consists of a hollow sleeve or ferrule l, substantially oval in shape and having integral with its outer end a projection 2, on the under side of which, at a slight remove from the end of the ferrule 1, is a lug or projection 3. The

projection 2 beyond the lug 3 is turned upwardly and is gradually flattened toward its end, which is bent inwardly with a suitable curve over the end of the ferrule 1. The upper portion 4 of the projection 2 becomes gradually thinner and broader toward its inner end. Two projections 5 are rigid with the inner end of the ferrule 1, one being at the upper side and the other at the lower. Openings 6 are formed through the said projections 5.

We claim- The design for a singletree-hook, substantially as shown and described.
