(Application filed Mar. 9, 1901 llilllllili UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
LEWIS W. BROWN, OF EUGENE, OREGON.
DESIGN FOR AN EGG-SEPAR'ATOR OR LEMON-SQUEEZER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No; 34,342, dated April 9, 1901.
Application filed March 9,1901. Serial No. 50,528. T m of patent 7 years,
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LEWIS W. BROWN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Eugene, in the county of Lane and State of Oregon, have invented a newand original Design for an Egg-Separator or Lemon-Squeezer,of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings.
My invention relates to a new and original design for a lemon-squeezer or egg-separator, and I have illustrated the same in the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the drawings, Figure l is a side elevation of the device. Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof. Fig. 3 is a bottom plan view, and Fig. 4 is a central Vertical transverse section.
In said drawings, 1 is a circular disk having a concentric groove 2 in the upper and in the lower face thereof, said grooves being arranged one above the other. A dome-like projection or knob 3 extends from one face of the disk, said knob being hollow and encircled by a groove 4, as shown. The opposite face or side of the disk 1 is dished out at the center and about the inlet to the knob 3, as shown at 5. A series of ribs 6, which are angular in cross-section, extend from the apex of the dome to the base thereof, and shorter ribs 7 are arranged therebetween. These'lastmentioned ribs do not extend to the base of the dome, as slots 8 are formed therebelow, as shown, said slot-s opening into the interior of the dome. A series of curved slots 9 are formed within the annular groove 4, said slots being concentric to the center of the disk.
Having thus described myinvention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for an egg-separator or lemonsqueezer, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presenceof two witnesses.
LEWIS W. BROWN. Witnesses:
