To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that l, GEORGE D. GREEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Frames for Motor-Cycles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
My design relates to frames for motor-cycles; and it consists in the general shape or configuration of the frame, and particularly of the rear portion thereof.
Figure l is a perspective view of a frame constructed in accordance with my design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.
The frame is composed of the head 1, from which extends the horizontal top bar or tube 2 and the rearwardly and downwardly extending bar or tube 3, terminating in the crank-hanger 4. Extending upwardly from the latter to the end of the tube 2 is a central brace or seat-post 5. The upper fork members 6 extend rearwardly and downwardly from the upper end of the post 5, diverging from the center of the brace, and attheir lower ends join the rear ends of the lower fork members 7. The lower fork members 7 extend slightly upward at their forward ends, as shown, to the crank-hanger. Between the upper and lower fork members are the additioual members 9, 'oined to the central brace 5.
I claim- The design forafraine for motor-cycles substantially as herein shown and described.
