DESIGN FOR AN ADVERTISING-CABINET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,710, dated December 1 1, 1900.

Application filed November 6, 1900. Serial No. 35,683. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM C. CARR, of Toledo, county of Lucas, and State of Ohio, have invented a new and original Design for an Advertising-Cabinet; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of theinvention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to the figures of reference marked thereon, which forms a part of this specification.

The drawing shows a front elevation of an advertisingcabinet embodying my design.

The design comprises a base i, the four fluted columns 2 mounted thereon forming a center display-section and two side displaysections, respectively, of equal area. Surmounting the columns is the entablature 3, having frieze, architrave, and cornice, as shown. Rising centrally above the entahlature is the rectangular pediment 4, having a cornice 5 and side brackets at 6. At the angles formed by the entablature and the pediment the design is enriched by ornamentation 7. Within the center display-section is a rectangular panel 8, containing a diamond figure 9, in which is arranged a circular space to receive a clock-dial. The spaces between the diamond and the panel contain artglass ornamentation 11. Disposed on each side of the ornamental panel are two spaces 12 for advertising-cards. At the top and bottom, respectively,'of the center display-section are arranged advertising-spaces 13. The two side display-sections are similar in every respect and are divided by horizontal and vertical strips into three substantially-square advertising-sections 14 at the top and bottom, with two rectangular spaces 15 adjoining them. At the center of the side displaysections are circularlyarranged spaces 16 to receive mirrors, as shown, and on each side of the mirrors are advertisingspaces 17. Mounted upon the entablatuw above the end columns are finial ornaments 18, as shown.

Having thus described my invention, I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for an advertising-cabinet, substantially as shown and described.
