DESIGN FOR A LAMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No; 33,391, dated October 16, 1900;.
Application filed July 24, 1900. Serial No. 24,722. Term of patent '7 years.
all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES H. DE VoLL, a citizen of the United States, (whose postoffice addressis at Seattle,Washington,) residing at Seattle, in the county of King and State of Washington, have invented and produced a new and original Design foraLamp; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the accompanying drawing the figure is a side elevation of a lamp embodying my design.
In the drawing, CL denotes the reservoir or bowl of the lamp, which is substantially oval in cross-section and is provided with a downwardly-extendin g base b,a centrally-arranged supporting rim or projection o, and an extension d. From the reservoir a extends a pipe 6 in a horizontal and then vertical manner, the said pipe near its upper end being turned in the form of agooseneck f, its outer end being provided with a head g.
h represents a pipe which extends from the burnerj in a horizontal and then a vertical manner to a point near the end 9 of the gooseneck f, at which point said pipe h is provided with a funnel end portion c'.
