DESIGN FOR A PICTURE-HOOK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,837, dated March 30, 1897.
Application filed January 11, 1897. Serial No. 618,883. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE W. WILLARD, a citizen of the United States, residing at De troit, county of \Vayne, State of Michigan, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Picture and Picture-Hook Hanger, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing apart thereof.
Figure l of the drawings is a view in elevation of a picture and picture-hook hanger, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a cross-section of the arm B.
The leading features of my design consist in a shank formed with an upright portion and an oifset portion at its upper end, the offset portion supporting thereupon two arms spaced one from the other at their upper-ends and united intermediate their ends by a seat of circular outline, the curved seatresting upon the upper end of the shank.
Accordingly A represents the upright portion of the shank, and A the offset portion.
B and B represent the two arms, united at their lower ends by the seat B of circular outline, said seat resting upon the upper end of the shank. The contourof the arms B B, which are spaced apart, meetat their lower ends in the curved seat B The contour of the arms and seat thus present to the eye the combined efiect of a circular seat projecting upward at its extremities, forming the spaced arms B B, said arms and seat supported upon the upper end of the offset portion of said shank.
\Vhat I claim is-- The design for a picture and picture-hook hanger, substantially as herein shown and described.
