DESIGN FOR A SCALE-BEAM-STAND MEMBER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,000, dated July 24, 1900.
Application filed May 1, 1900. Serial No. 15,144. Term of patent 14 years.
To all 1071,0712, it may concern.
Be it known that I, PERLEY F. IIAZEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at St. Johnsbury, in the county of Caledonia, State of Vermont, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Scale- Beam-Stand Member, of which the following is a description, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
My invention relates to a new and original design for a scale-beam-stand member; and it consists in the mattershereinafter described, and referred to in the appended claim.
The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a front view of an entire scalebeam-stand member embodying my design; and Fig. 2 is a top plan View of the base member forming the essential feature of this design, the upper portion of the stand being shown in cross-section.
In the drawings,A represents as a whole one member of ascale-beam stand the upper part of which is of usual form, while B is thelower part. This base B has a general triangular-- shaped portion at one end,from which the upper portion projects, two of the sides a a of the substantially-triangular portion being formed on a double set of compound curves running toward the apexes b b I), while from the two opposite apexes b the lines run in compound curves 0 c and merge into the parallel sides d (Z, which at their opposite ends are merged into the apex e.
The essential feature of the design consists in the base-piece of the shape and configuration shown.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for a scale-beau1-stand member; substantially as shown and described.
