DESIGN FOR A RElN-GUIDE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,898, dated July 3, 1900.
Application filed June 1, 1900, Serial No. 18,780. T rm of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I,.HERscHEL J M. BARN- HART, a citizen of the United States, residing at What Cheer, in the county of Keokuk and ate of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Rein-Guides, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new and original design for rein-guides and is shown in the accompanying drawings, in Which Figure 1 is a perspective view; Fig. 2, a front View; Fig. 3, an end view, and Fig. 4 a bottom plan.
The leading feature of my design resides in a rein-guide having a rectangular base portion, from the middle portions of the end members of which extends a segmental ring, a bar spanning the space between the side members of the base portion intermediate the end members, and a conical projection formed thereon pointing to the apex 'of the ring.
In the accompanying drawings, the reference-numeral 1 indicates the rein-guide having a rectangular base portion composed of side members 2,cross end members 3,and with a bar 4 spanning the space between the side members 2, and provided with a conical projection 5, which points toward the apex of the segmental ring 6, that projects or extends from the middle of the end members 3. The side members 2 are concavo-convex longitudinally, as shown.
My design presents a rein-guide of novel, attractive, and distinguished appearance.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is The design for a rein-guide substantially as herein shown and described.
