DESIGN FOR A DIAPHRAGM-LEVER.
To all whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, EDWARD S. BALDWIN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at Peabody, in the county of Essex and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Diaphragm-Lever, of which the following is a specification.
Thisinvention relates to a new and original design for a diaphragm-lever; and it consists in the novel features of shape and configuration hereinafter fully described and particu- ]arly claimed, and clearly illustrated in the drawings.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying sheet of drawings, forming a part of this application, in which like characters indicate like parts wherever they occur.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of 2. diaphragm-lever, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a like view seen from the opposite side from that in which it appears in Fig. l.
The essential feature of my design consists in a sect0rshaped body formed at its upper end with an incline, a ledge, an overhanging 25 member, and a part extending to the lower edge of the incline under and beyond the overhang.
1 represents a sector-shaped body.
2 represents the incline.
3 represents the ledge.
4 represents the overhanging member, and 5 represents a part that extends from the edge of the incline 2 to the outside of the overhanging member 4. 35
6 represents a boss extending each side of the sector-shaped body.
I claim- The design for a diaphragmdever, substantially as herein shown and described.
