No. 23,291. Patented May 22, 1894.
/ WITNESSES. INVENTOR UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
EDllVARD VESTON, OF NEWARK, NElV JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A CASE FOR ELECTRICAL MEASURING-INSTRUMENTS.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 23,291, dated may 22, 1894. Application filed April 13, 1894. Serial No. 507,463. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EDWARD WESTON, of Newark, Essex county, New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Electrical Measuring-Instrument Cases, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawings Figure 1 is a side view of an instrument case showing my design. Fig. 2 is an edge view. Fig. 3 is a. section on the line 3-3 of Fig. 1, showing the conformation of the edge.
-Similar letters of reference indicate like parts.
The leading and characteristic feature of my design is the triangular configuration of the instrument case, the said triangular figure having two straight sides and one curved side, the face of said curved side showing a salient angle.
The sides of the case, oneof which is shown at A, are flat and parallel. The periphery or edge of the case is much narrower in width than the side A. The said periphery shows the following portions: 8. straight portion, B, a straight portion, 0, at right angles to the straight portion B, and a circular are, D, extending between the portions 0 and B. The face D has the shape of a salient angle formed by the inclined sides a b.
I claim- The design fora case for electrical measuring instruments substantially as hereinbefore shown and described.
EDWARD WESTON.
